NC State’s University Safety Advisor Team (USAT) recently conducted a complete Lab Safety Review of your laboratory space(s) to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations on 03/25/2025. To review the assessment information, please follow the following directions and sign into EHS Assistant (go.ncsu.edu/ehsa). This is the best way to review your inspections observation notes and photos . If an item of concern was marked deficient or flagged by mistake, please state that in your response (we will address it accordingly).

It is essential to respond to our findings (letting us know you’ve seen them) within 14 days and have corrective actions in place within 30 days. We understand that some corrective actions may take longer to correct. In those instances, please state the plan of action and timeline needed.

It is our top priority to educate, inform and support our research staff with these findings. EH&S is here to work as a bridge between principal investigators and our state/federal agencies. This way we can work together in preventing injuries, incidents and state/federal fines.
