Prevent Deletion of Google Shared Content Owned by Alumni and Former Employees
If you are having trouble reading this email, you may view the online version. On Monday, September 2, the Google Service Team will delete all labeled files and folders owned by alumni, former students and former employee accounts that have been suspended for two or more years (prior to May 2022). This action will help NC State meet its Google Workspace storage quota. To learn more about this project, see the initial initial campus notification. What You Can Do Now 1. Use Drive Labels to identify files shared with you but still owned by suspended alumni and former employee accounts. Carefully review any Google Shared Folders that former users might own.
